Advanced Vajrakilaya Practice according to the Düdjom Tersar Tradition.

Seminar via Zoom, December 11-12, 2021, Saturday and Sunday, 3-7 pm CET

This seminar continues the previously discussed topic of Vajrakilaya practice from”The Razor that Destroys at a Touch” by Düdjom Rinpoche. He received this Terma hidden treasure in a vision of Yeshe Tsogyal herself, the Tibetan princess consort of Guru Padmasambhava, while meditating in the Tiger’s Nest cave in Bhutan. However, attendance at the previous seminar is not required.

The seminar will focus on the meditation and ritual practice, beginning with the preliminaries of erecting a Mandala, that is, casting a magical circle to expel and prevent interference from outside provocations of negative energy, but also on constructing a talismanic image to access and contain higher spiritual energies. Following the visualization of the principal Yidam meditation deity and his retinue, there is the descent of the spirit, or wisdom being, into this image and the presenting of puja offerings and praises outer, inner, and secret. This process culminates in the mantra recitations, which is followed by a short Ganapuja or Tantric Feast.

In a future seminar there will be discussed some of the magical practices associated with Vajrakilaya, such as long life practice and the exorcism of negative energies, based upon the personal instructions received from Düdjom Rinpoche.
