Vielleicht interessiert es den einen oder anderen: Auch der Palikanon enthält anscheinend Schriften, die nicht authentisch sind.
Ich bin jetzt weit von einem Experten, möchte aber Nanavira Thera erwähnen, der sich mit dem Palikanon sehr intensiv befasst hat.( Mir hilfreich als Anfänger im Palikanon.) In einer Randbemerkung (Clearing the Path) schreibt er:
These books of the Palicanon correctly represent the Buddha's Teaching, and can be regarded as trustworthy throughout. (Vinayapitaka:) Suttavibhanga, Mahavagga, Culavagga; (Suttapitaka:) Dighanikaya, Majjhimanikaya, Samyuttanikaya, Anguttaranikaya, Suttanipata, Dhammapada, Udana, Itivuttaka, Theratherigatha. (the Jataka verses may be authentic, but they do not come within the scope of these Notes.)
